Responsibilities

  • Track all SE prospect activity via SalesForce: create or update contacts, contracts, opportunities, communications, meetings, etc.
  • Work with the assigned Salesperson to document and own prospect Feature Requests.
  • Work with Salesperson and/or Support to ensure that all support tickets (SF) have proper ownership assigned and are escalated appropriately to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Communicate with Sales prospect contacts at least once a week, more where necessary. Document client contacts using Salesforce.
  • Educate prospects and clients on Vertical offerings and new releases. Help develop new business opportunities with the client when possible.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of current and recent versions of Vertical applications and workflows.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of typical client and industry workflows.
  • Maintain working knowledge of products and tools either competitive to or relational to Vertical applications.
  • Assist as required in the creation or completion of RFI, RFP, project plans, project diagrams etc. as needed in the sales process.
  • Create or customize project plans, presentation agendas, technical and workflow summary documentation etc. as needed in the sales process.
  • Update or author customer facing technical documentation, or the technical content of documentation as needed or assigned.
  • Demonstrate, train on, and support Vertical POCs (either on-prim or SaaS) during the proof of concept period for sales prospects both remotely and onsite as required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing Pre-sales engineering experience in the software industry
  • 2+ years of eDiscovery and/or litigation support experience
  • Experience working remotely with a global team
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Expertise managing large, complex accounts in a customer facing role
  • Experience working remotely
  • Ability to address tactical issues as well as maintain a long-term strategic vision
  • Listens to customers, identifies business process pains and recognizes opportunities in an effort to provide the best possible solutions
  • Strong analytics, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to “think outside of the box” to creatively address customer challenges and needs as needed
  • Enjoys working as part of a team in a collaborative environment
  • Effective and professional communication skills
